Live life like a romantic comedy with delightful chance run-ins, love at first sight, or a moment of playful conversation with Meet Cute. It's the anti-online dating app, motivating you to meet IRL. Match with people where you're checked in, discover exactly who's checking you out, then get up and talk to them!
Foundational UI design system

I expanded upon the existing brand guidelines to adapt components for use in UI. The focus was on building a foundational component library that could scale with the app.

I tweaked colors for appropriate accessibility contrast, defined what should be default text color, background colors, and the interactive link color. In expanding on the brand, I defined a gradient palette to easily drop into Figma screens.

Reflection

As my first 0-1 client project, we got a lot accomplished in a short period of time. In particular, I am proud of how our design team pushed the clients to consider new business opportunities and ways they could utilize their concept for revenue. With the experience I have now in my career, I would handle to hand off process to the contracted engineering team with more documentation and polish, and I also would advocate for more direct communication with the engineers throughout development.
